30. Got Milk?

There’s a difference between cow milk and almond milk 

Yeah they’re both ‘milk’ but one comes from a cow and the other comes from almonds. 

Just like we’re both ‘humans’ but I come from this background with these experiences and bias’ and you come from that background with those experiences and bais’ 

Just like the milk, we’re similar in nature 

But drastically different when we start to get down into it. 

Isn’t it a little irrational to believe that each and every person is going to see things the way we see? 

Or do things the way we do? 

Instead of name calling and writing people off because they don’t ‘align’ 110% with our POV,  we could hear them out, see what they have to say, and maybe they may be right in some areas and we could learn a thing or two. 

Then again, that would only be possible if we put our ego aside and truly want to hear that other person out. 

Can we honestly say to ourselves that we can do that? 

If not, we got some work to do.
