There’s a difference between what we can change, and what we can’t.
Often, we mix the two.
Being mean to people to get our way – hurts relationships.
Yelling at the at&t guy won’t fix the service
No matter how hard we try, we can’t make someone like us.
And here’s a viewpoint to clear this lens up:
We can change our future through our actions at this very moment
If I work out and eat right, I’ll lose weight.
If I stop complaining and giving attitude, fights and arguments are avoided.
And here’s a practical action item:
focus on making clear what parts of our day are within our control and what parts are not.
We can’t control what the at&t guy does or what happened to our service
Plus, we’ll be happier – because we know how the world works – that some things we cannot control
More importantly, we’ll have an edge.
An edge over others who miss this point.
Who fail to realize they’re fighting an unwinnable battle by controlling the uncontrollable.🤷🏽♀️
