Steadiness, stability, tranquility – traits most of us aspire to have but seem to experience (if at all) sporadically.
How can we live this way?
Not through luck or running away.
But by filtering the outside world through our lens.
We can take messed up, confusing, overwhelming “things” and make them orderly.
BUT
If we make rash decisions based on emotions and not logic or reason, then everything that follows will be crooked – like building a house on mud or quicksand.
Allowing us to lose the ability to steady ourselves with the chaos and ‘rush’ of life.
Maybe the best way to achieve clarity, steadiness, stability, tranquility is in using our own judgment, the best we can.
