Want to kill culture within an organization?
Have the higher ups use special treatment, bending the rules for some and not for others, pick favorites
Say your an open door when really you just say that because it’s what you’re supposed to do
Of course, if we want to build culture, doing the opposite of what we just talked about may benefit
It probably would work, because the former is the norm
Just like It doesn’t matter how big a tree is, if it’s slowly dying it could still stand for another 10 or 20 years?
That too, It doesn’t matter how long an organization has been around- doing the wrong things long enough will destroy any chances of thriving
