Maybe more than half?
Because if we just start driving, where would we end up?
The question doesn’t even make sense.
99% of the time we know where we’re going when we get into the car
To work, the in-laws, to this place
But with life?
We just flow through, bouncing this way and that, running into that wall, taking in water…
We don’t know what we want
And a journey of a 1,000 miles begins with a single step?
What if that step is in the wrong direction? That’d be 2,000 miles away from the earlier destination
That could be a critical blow to life.
So what do you want?
Is it wealth? That takes a long time to build for the majority of us
Good health? That’s a little bit everyday, a lifestyle, not a quick fix.
Fulfilled relationships? It doesn’t happen overnight
Love? Well, we have to be the best version of ourselves for that to happen – how can we really love someone if we don’t love ourselves?
Happy? What does that mean to you? Really mean?
And it can be a few different things
“this is the only thing you can have” is not real.
Because we can have it all, well, maybe not everything but most things that we truly want – that’s possible.
But we can’t have anything if we don’t know what we want.
“To be happy” “to be comfortable”
That’s weak.
“To run a marathon” “to learn to handstand” “to make 10k in passive income each month”
“To do 5 pull ups” “to create 2 valuable pieces of content this week” “to go to my kids soccer game”
These are goals worth striving for, tangible.
“To be happy”? Too vague.
DIG DEEP, you’ll figure out what you really want.
And if it turns out what we think we want, and what we really want is different – and that’s okay
Because its our life
