Ever hear that saying?
How you do anything is how you do everything?
What do you think of it?
I heard this quote when i was a young teen, and it didn’t make sense to me
“It’s just a hose” was the story I heard that flipped the script
Jesse Itzler talks about it.
He went inside to go eat with his kids (they were playing with the hose and sprinklers)
He dropped the hose and went to go inside
But he stopped, turned around, put the hose back the way it should be…
THEN went for some food.
“It not just a hose” was his response.
And it’s not.
If you can leave the hose like that – where else are you cutting corners or falling short?
Maybe in our relationship or finances? What about at work or personally?
It’s not having extreme OCD and everything needs to be done perfectly – washing our hands every 10 seconds
Its about doing things up to our standard, to our expectations
Giving our best all the time with a positive attitude.
