Running ultras is just one aspect of it.
There’s training, planning, learning, adjusting
And everything else that goes into it.
It’s another reasons to solidify that running is mostly a mental activity
There’s a race coming up this weekend
- What time? When is packet pickup?
- How long is the commute there
- When do i have to leave
- Where will i be staying
- What am i bringing with me/ packing
- Logistics for the race
None of that is physical, well physically being there but that’s about it and then of course running the event
Nonetheless can we perform on race day?
Plan or not, it doesn’t matter to anyone
