926. Wildwood 100 Route info (ultra signup)

Extra Resources

Wildwood 100 is a 100-mile jaunt from NE Philadelphia to the Wildwood sign, a journey-style, open road run along a paved road.

This is a no-frills event that has no budget, an open road challenge with no official aid stations.

Runners will be dependent upon themselves or their crew to obtain supplies and somehow make it to the finish. (FYI: Gas stations and stores are along some sections of the route, other sections are pretty barren)

Those who are unable to complete the challenge will need to self-extract. If you need transportation back to your vehicle, be advised you might be waiting a while.

If this sounds like an adventure you’d like to experience, we’d love to see you on the road on November 4, 2023!

Finishers will receive a belt buckle. All participants will receive a Wildwood long-sleeved tech shirt.

**Please note: THERE ARE NO REFUNDS, DEFERRALS, OR TRANSFERS.

By running this jaunt you agree that whatever happens, it’s your own damn fault and no one but yourself is to be held liable for your actions. This is friends getting together to run, a training run for our other races.

Things that went well: All this planning payed off

What didn’t: had to add miles in the end to get the total mileage count to 100

What would you do different: rather over shoot the route a little bit then do make up miles at the end of the race. Maybe do a loop in the beginning near the art museum like we originally planned, or zig the streets.

I’d love to do this route again, maybe we could do it unsupported for shits and giggles.
