It’s doing something everyday
If you do it for a week, then you’re on a 7 day streak
Or maybe you go longer… 700 days, 7,000 days
Streaks offer momentum, we get on a roll
Runners do streaks – a mile a day, two miles per day – whatever
You can also do calisthenics or workout streaks – amount of reps, a specific exercise
Kindness streaks
Writing streaks
Telling joke streaks
Anything can be turned into a streak.
This is dedicated to a new streak I am about to undergo
- 2 miles per day
- 100 push movements per day
- 50 pull movements per day
The reason for the streak? “If you want to get better at climbing, climb”
Running and strength exercises are always going to be apart of my life, the streak is going to be a way to hold myself accountable.
Are streaks meant to end? Surely. Everyday is the goal but what happens if I miss the day?
Just restart the streak back up the next day and see if I can go longer.
