That’s the first step, because getting upset, angry, reactive – emotional – that clouds our judgment. It colors our decision making negatively, we’re in a bad mood. It makes things harder than it needs to be.
Okay so we don’t get emotional anymore, or most of the time, or we try not too…
Then what?
Remember what we value and where we stand on a topic. We can run situations, circumstances, experiences, questions, through this filter and then we can proceed to make decisions, the decisions that we want, going for the outcomes we desire vs the decisions that we reactively make, not even realizing the outcome.
This is going to take awareness though, what do I value? Who am i? Where do I stand on this?
Don’t get upset and do the right thing.
That’s really all there is to it.
We can do it
We’re human though – Emotions are good but when we need to make decisions? Sometimes it’s a hinderance.
