Feeling grateful to be alive 

Anxious for the big day 

Relieved to make it through 

Highs and lows 

How do we deal with it?

By learning to control how we respond to our emotions vs. reacting to them. 

See, people try to avoid emotions. That’s a problem because emotions guide us. 

What separates people isn’t that they don’t get angry or upset 

It’s how they deal with that emotion 

Dwell on it for days or months? Scream and shout? Throw things at the wall? 

Let it go right when it happens? Smile even when it’s hard? 

There’s so many options. What’s best for us? 

Execute, Learn from the emotions that come up – and do that till there ain’t nothing left to do
