Think of a harmless indulgence you give in too:
Ice Cream after diner
Coffee in the morning
A ciggy when we drink
Checking social media
Soda, junk food
Gossiping or complaining
Biting nails
Soon enough though, we can’t go a day without these things and these harmless little actions turned into something that controls us, maybe even full fledged addictions
These little habits we develop, they cloud our clarity and focus , we think we’re in control. Are you really though? Can you really say you’re a master at self control? Few people can. I know I can’t.
