1039. How we see the world

Ever hear of pretty phrases?

The world is your oyster

Pass through this brief patch of time in harmony with nature and come to your final resting place gracefully

The foam slinging out a dogs mouth

Some phrases help us, some hinder , and that’s the beauty

Certain phrases can give us a beautiful perspective on un beautiful circumstances.

Like seeing the end of life as a ripened fruit that fell off the tree and nourishes the earth it came from.

Like seeing the way baking bread splits in places and those cracks catch out eye and stir our appetite, even though the cracks weren’t intended to be in the bread.

It’s finding empowering metaphors for life and really embracing them, because weather we think good or think bad – we’re right. To us anyway.

But in choosing to see the silver lining? In finding simplicity and leave in places others don’t even look? There is clarity and joy there. It’s better then seeing the world as some dark place with everyone out to get us – right?
