Questions are really a way to a more quality life.
Why are they always out to get me?
What can I learn from this situation?
Why do I keep making the same mistakes?
What do I want?
All these questions have different answers and the answers to those questions either empower us or disempower us.
How would that affect the quality of our lives?
Think back to the biggest mistake you’ve ever made. (For me this might be drinking and driving)
Did it seem like good idea at the time? (Yeah)
Probably.
And think back to the biggest opportunity you’ve ever had. (For me this would be buying vacant lots in the inner city of Philadelphia)
Did it seem like risky or a dumb move at the time? (Yes, people even told me so – but it paid off well)
Probably.
Think about your life right now.
What seems like an opportunity that might actually be a mistake?
And on the flip side,
What seems like a mistake today that might actually be an opportunity?
Inspired by Mark Manson’s new letter, Thanks🐐
