1077. Critical moments that shape us | navigation

Ever loose someone you’re close with?

What are some feelings that come up?

Grief? Suffering? Sadness? Grateful for the time spent?

Maybe the emotions are suppressed….

What if instead of suppressing, running away, or hiding from our emotions, what if instead we faced them? Processed them?

We dealt with and learned to control our emotions vs being jerked around on a leash this way and that

Why do we tell people we’re fine when we’re not?

Understanding of our feelings and emotions – practicing our awareness and navigating this whole process is a journey within itself.

Distraction is easy, it’s hard to do the work – but it’s damn worth it.

That means we have to face now. What are we feeling? What do we want?

Question ourselves, become curious, remove expectations and false associations, entitlements – what can we do now? What’s an empowering thought to focus on?

We can’t change what we’ve gone through, but we can accept it, and move on – let it go, leave it where it sits.

It’s these critical moments that shape us, so we can look back years later after we’ve created the life we want and remember how such a pivotal moment shaped who we are today.
