1115. Vending Machines

Put money in and something comes out.

Sometimes that thing gets stuck, other times we hit the wrong button.

Tattoo shops do vending machines too, except it’s a little more than a quarter and the product lasts basically forever.

My first vending machine tattoo experience was at the Philadelphia Art Festival 2024 and I got a clown, swinging on a trapeze by his feet, doing the dab.

You get what you get and you don’t get upset.

Classic.

Funny enough, I love this tattoo. It’s fun, reminds me to be light. He has a nice smile, and moving around, there’s not much else to life.

The convention was dope, but with some many different tattoos (seemed like millions) how do I pick one?

Yeah , I could have had an idea of what I wanted – but how do I choose an artist? They were all super skilled.

The vending machine took some of the decision making out of it. I just found one that was in my price range and rolled the dice.

At first , it was like wtf really?

But after, I really like this little dude and am happy with how he turned out.

It’s easy to be heavy, hard to be light.

Godspeed.
