Goals are meant to be something to strive for.
Most people don’t set goals because, well what if I fail? What if come up short?
That’s the point. To force us to stretch.
If we only set goals we think we can achieve, are we really growing?
Maybe a little bit. Maybe that’s enough.
Because it’s an art. Setting the goal to cause us to stretch, and just barely getting that goal.
But major growth comes from our failures, the lessons learned.
I didn’t make it because x,y, and z.
Everyone has a reason that they do something
but watch out.
Reasons can turn into excuses in the blink of an eye.
