This post is inspired from Gary Vee, coming in at a good time.
“This is for all the people who are confused about hard work and burn out…
it’s for all the people that fully understand that passion and actually doing shit you love is the only option..
There’s only two people that work super hard..
the people that fully love it, and then there’s the reverse..
the people that are so fearful and so insecure that they think, by getting straight A’s in school or working 12 hours a day, that’s gonna fix it..
If someone’s insecure, they may think, “I have to work 12 hours a day to make a million dollars because that million dollars is gonna show ‘them’ that I’m good.”
That’s not work ethic… that’s insecurity.
Hard work is remarkably enjoyable when you like what you’re doing.
I don’t think you should work hard if you don’t like what you’re doing… that leads to burn out
don’t burn yourself out.
Don’t even do it!
I think the world’s got this super backwards and it confused everybody. (Myself included)
Work is a byproduct of what’s actually inside of you. It’s not the fucking root.
Get to the root ❤️❤️❤️
I think this perspective can really help a lot of people today”

As a server, sometimes there’s a pressure to get a “real job”
I think this comes from ignorance from the common person
Because serving is a real job, maybe not the best or ideal job , but that’s relative.
Yeah there’s no benefits or retirement plans – but that’s why the marketplace and investments exists.
Yeah work life balance may be off, so that’s why it’s important to build experiences, plan, and take the time you need off.
There’s a difference between someone good at their craft and someone mediocre
Just like with any job, any profession
