Grit: the ability to show up every second of every day. Doing the little things. Being present, putting things away, not leaving dirty dishes, giving your best.
Fortitude: the ability to keep going when the tank is drained. Mentally or physically. Getting back out there after you’ve been jacked up, not giving up on a business when things aren’t going your way.
Confidence: knowing that you did everything you could to prepare for this moment. All those late nights, lonely workouts, early mornings have been worth it.
Self-belief: understanding that we can achieve great things because we’ve put in the work. Knowing our potential is unlimited.
Self-esteem: keeping promises. Executing on plans and keeping our word. Doing the little things and eventually building a momentum that can’t be stopped.
Discipline: Staying locked in when no one is watching. Seeing things through.
Determination: knowing where you want to go and why. Not getting knocked off course, or getting back on track once you realize you are off track. Knowing that only you can control your destiny and won’t let anything get in your way.
Perseverance: showing up no matter what, and really showing up, each day, no matter how long it takes.
Kindness: giving more than you receive. Helping others, leaving people and the world better then you found it.
Positivity: while things can go either way; you choose to keep on seeing the silver lining. Focusing on solutions not dwelling on mistakes. Doing instead of wishing.
Self love: being better than your possessions, focusing on becoming the best version of you. Yes you will fall down, but you give yourself a hand and get back up.
Gratitude: knowing where you came from and how far you’ve come. Being thankful for everything that happens and the lessons learned.
