Being flexible , having the ability to adapt.
What’s that worth?
Maybe adapting – being flexible – it gets a job, or solidifies a friendship, or something good comes out of it
On the other hand
Being so rigid – it could cost opportunities
Putting first things first is about getting the important things done as fast as we can.
And then spending the rest of our time ticking the needle forward, or maybe it’s spending time with our kids/ family, or maybe it’s running down to submit that app.
Putting first things first allows us to get what we need to get done. What’s the one thing I can do – and if I do it – everything else will become unnecessary?
Not everything is created equal. Sending out those prospecting emails is way more valuable then running that errand to the store, where do we spend our time?
First things first helps make sure we get our shit done, and one step closer to our goal
