Is what I’m about to say going to add value to this person?
Or is it just to make me feel more comfortable, more heard, to boost my ego?
Sometimes friendly advice from one can come off as stupidity or ignorance to the other
Especially when the person doesn’t read before they write
It’s about speaking (writing to someone else) only when it improves upon the silence
It’s not easy to do, but something worth striving towards
