It’s easy to feel like it’s all over when life gets hard, whether it’s a job setback or another challenge that seems impossible.
Maybe you’ve been in a career you hate for decades because you felt you “should” do it. Maybe you had kids by accident or got into all this credit card debt.
We can’t change the past, but we can learn from it and move forward.
Some people are stuck on that past pain and never get over it, while others, like my dog Champion, quickly let things go and live in the present moment.
Striving to be present is worthwhile.
Stop dwelling on the past. Who cares what we lost? It all makes for a better ending. Get to work on the time you have left.
We can figure this out, as we always do. There is a way.
The average person lives to 80 years old. If you’re average, you may have 20, 30, 40, or 50 years left. That’s a lot of time to accomplish great things if you keep trying…
even after failures.
Over | Under Estimate
We overestimate what we can do in a year, and underestimate what we can do in a decade.
So get up after being knocked down, and keep stepping up to the plate. This is how to create the life you want.
Are you willing to do that? It’s a lot easier said than done.
Don’t overthink or let fear of failure or criticism hold you back. Fail fast, fail often, and persist. We can’t lose if we keep playing.
(That’s a secret of life.)
Eventually, you’ll start winning at life.
Winning is a habit, just like losing. If you want to change, you must change something. So get to work and create the life you want.
