1300 posts. 6 years in the making. A little bit each day, it’s starting to add up – it doesn’t even feel that long ago when I started this journey. The saying rings true, the days are long but the years are short.
Something I’ve noticed is as I get more patina on me, more experience, lessons learned, actions taken… i”m getting better at thinking things through, at knowing what I want, giving some focused effort and taking action towards those goals.
It’s more than just learning lessons from mistakes, the second part is you have to do something about it…
It’s like how most people forget the second part of boxing.
- Hit the other person
- Don’t get hit

Money management is another necessary skill.
It’s a skill, something we can develop and get better at. We spend most of our lives earning money to live, but how much time do we dedicate to thinking about money and what that means to us? How much time do we spend learning about money? Good principles to follow, habits to implement…
How do you figure these money skills out?
Do something. Maybe it’s going into the personal finance reddit group, picking up unshakable or the richest man in babylon, asking friends and family how they manage money
But the important part is to do something, anything
And the rest usually follows.
