One last look at a sunrise from kings chair in oak mountain state park Alabama. It’s about a 6 mile hike round trip from the campground and took me about 45 minutes to get to the kings chair

The sun peaked at 6:36 and I got to the chair around 6:25, cutting it close but with more then enough time.
Got back to the campsite around 7:30, enjoyed some love and coffee with C&C. Something about hot coffee in the campground is really nice.
- Two tea bag filters placed inside each other
- 2 big scoops of coffee
- Pour over into a mug.
I’ll probably make coffee like this forever.
After some quality time, I got a good workout in on the monkey bars at the playground
- 100 pull ups
- 200 dips
This took around 40 minutes with a cool down and warm up. Healthy living really is a lifestyle, and I haven’t really seen anyone working out while we’ve been hitting this state parks…
Maybe cause they’re on vacation and not extended travel, who knows
Corie put together a good to go dehydrated meal pack for me while I was in the shower. Just add water and wait, think about how big the universe is.
We were pretty much ready to leave by this point, we prepped everything the night before.
Wrapped up, took our ritual site picture:

And we were on our way north; to cloud land canyon state park in Georgia
We stopped along the way to pick up some groceries, at a local cafe for cold brew and espresso, and grabbed some gas as we neared the destination.
We got to cloundland around 4 pm
Well, 3 pm but there was an hour difference between the two time zones.
Checked in, grabbed some stickers and kiln dried firewood, and headed the campsite; a nice level piece of land which made parking/ leveling a breeze for the crv.
Stretched our legs, set up our site – the canopy comes in clutch again, got a lay of the land, popped open some wine, got a nice easy fire going, and laughed out loud.
The hour jump always throws us off, we woke up at 7:30 today but the past week it was 6:30 – we slowly got ourselves together, did our morning coffee, and I was on my way to run the yellow loop trail, and it was one of my favorite runs in the past 5 years.

This area is magically beautiful.
After the run, I caught up with C&C, got a quick workout in, and some good food in me, some tasks knocked out and showered.
Healthy living really is a lifestyle.
