1337. Travel diaries: changes

Last night was cold, I had to throw a gaiter and flannel on.

It kept us up for a little. It but we eventually fell asleep.

Anything is better than the heat and bugs.

WE ARE OVER THEM.

On a other note, left cloudland canyon state park

That was the plan, we were suppose to head east toward tallulah gorge, almost in South Carolina

Hurricane Helene is destroying and we canceled our reservation, cooly getting a full refund.

We had some options

Stay at cloudland canyon? Relocate?

The park ranger recommended we get a hotel room “trees are going to be down”

Say no more.

We left around 12:30 pm and got a hotel room in Chattanooga for the next two nights.

Foodshop for the essentials: fruit, veggies, kombucha, and some beers.

Checked in, getting settled, we realized our next spot won’t except reservations until Monday.

We were suppose to check in Sunday.

And the tallulah gorge?

We were suppose to stay three nights. And we have one night in between where we won’t be staying anywhere.

There are some options;

We could stay on the streets; we’ve done it before.

Or extend our stay. And that’s what we did.

We got a hotel room until Monday. The days inn

Nothing extravagant, a bed, sink, bathroom, fridge and microwave…

and it still feels too big.

Champy is loving it

Living his best life

A few beers deep: throw the news on. What’s this hurricane all about? A lot because we turned it on right too the hurricane.

Gusts, swells, damage.

We started making some phone calls; a long talk with grandmom, a long overdue chat with a close friend

He was watching the game. Thursday night football

Let’s fucking bet on it, a new experience

Bet 50$ get 200$ we are sold😭

And we lost😭😭 no more betting🫡
