Is it about meeting in the middle?
Or is it about giving everything and expecting nothing?
Different contexts could have different answers – there’s a dichotomy to life
At work, meeting in the middle could be more appropriate
Relationships? Giving everything and expecting nothing could be more appropriate
But even that has a point,
Do you meet in the middle as a salesmen? Paid by the hour? In a union? Where’s the middle? Isn’t it about going above and beyond?
And do you give everything and expect nothing for years and years? If you love the person yeah, if not then eventually it’ll get old.
