Giving advice is nice and all
But is the advice given just to hear yourself talk?
Or is the person asking for advice?
Because advice without the person asking is just nonsense
As the stools would say, you have barnacles to scrape off your ship too
So why give unasked for advice?
And then when the person hears you out but says something back,
“They need to put their pride aside”
Is this an act of dominance? Of seniority? stupidity?
Whatever it is, we can let that person talk
And continue our day like they never did
Because we didn’t even ask
