1569. all this training is paying off

5 weeks out from loopy looper 100.

Just did longest training run of this block at 37 miles, followed by 13 miles the next day.

If race day goes like this I’ll be 1000% okay w that.

Great runs overall and still feel good. Well, as good as can be w 50 miles on the legs🤪

no music either, just pit pat.

Submersed in the present.

Locked in.

This let my mind process everything I’ve been thinking about, race day, long term and short term goals, how things would play out, planning

Walking out of this with lots of clarity

And eagerness

Ready to rock.

It was a long build up over the course of 5 months (21 weeks) I just hit my peak week and feeling so damn good. All this effort is paying off.

These next five weeks I’ll be slowly tapering

With 64 miles this week coming up, 50 the next, 34 miles after that, 21, then race week.

Race week I’ll keep it under 10 miles until race day with lots of sleep and rest in between.
