One is natural – the other synthetic
That’s a concrete fact, just like gravity is a fact.
Humans have emotions like happiness
To one – happiness is spending time with family
The other – happiness is spending time alone
Which is the fact?
The point is when it comes to the preferences, we’re all different
Different due to circumstances, experiences, interpretations – we all formulate our own personal abstract facts throughout life
What are the odds others are going to see things exactly the way we do and vise versa?
The chances are slim, so what if we erred on the side that people didn’t see things the way we did?
After all, it may save us a lot of headache and unnecessary conflict (and yet some enjoy headaches and unnecessary conflict too.)
