227. End Dates

 Goals are great

But without an end date what usually happens?

The goal never gets accomplished

That’s like tying up our shoes to go run but flicking through the channels instead

“I’ll get to it later” “not today” “next week”

One of the issues is that there’s no end date on the goal

“Right this very second, I will stop eating sugar, I’ll eat more plants, drink more water, move for 1 hour a day because I am sick and tired of feeling the way I do and I know I can change. I promise to myself that I will do this for as long as it takes, no matter what, because I already have signed up for the local marathon on June 1 next year too”

Is a lot different then

“I want to eat healthier and workout”

The main difference? The start and end dates

Secondly? The commitment.
