288. Learning from others

The brash young person who’s got it figured out, but they’re too cocky to see what’s useful because they discard everything.

Or that person who always is learning, but never doing

What about someone who tries to reinvent the wheel?

People have gone before us, and people are going to come after us

There’s always going to be more to learn

Let’s figure out what’s the most important thing we can do, and do it.

Discarding what’s useless

We can’t be everywhere at once, and we all have the same time in the day – being selective on that “one thing” we focus on.

And just because we don’t need to reinvent the wheel, we can still add our own flare

learning from others but doing it better.
