471. Is it really that necessary? 

Being “plugged” in is a thing now. 

Knowing every single current event, watching every movie, following the news, and we’re informed, right? 

But who said that this is really that necessary? Where is the evidence? 

On the other hand, maybe we should know the events that affect us and our family, but that’s really about it. 

How much more time, energy, and focus could we have if we cut our media consumption? 

Who cares what the kardashians are doing? 

Yeah, that carjacking is a shame, but are we going to do anything about it? No? Then why even know about it? 

How much more present and rested would we feel if we didn’t freak out at all the news, the next scandal, or “potential” crisis?
