There was a massive learning curve for us
We didn’t know ANYTHING about cooking these plant-based foods
Lots of rice got thrown away because it was cooked wrong
Vegetables got thrown out because we didn’t prepare or store them correctly
Foods like kale tasted weird
Slowly but surely we got better at the whole plant-based eating thing.
Not only were we feeling great, but the food was tasting even better – even the kale. (we focus on what we are seasoning the foods with to give them incredible taste: garlic, onion, black pepper, red pepper, salt, and turmeric are some of our favorites.)
We learned what to combine and what not to combine
How to store, prep, and cook different foods
Like all great things – it’s taken time. At this point in our life, we can’t see a reason to change our way of eating.
We feel the best we ever felt, look the best we ever looked, we rarely get sick – our bodies heal and repair themselves quickly…
It hasn’t come without hard work though.
