Write a letter of support to the parole board for my friend who has been in jail for the last few years and is eligible for parole coming up in a few months. Make the letter simple, heart felt, and professional with examples. The point of the support letter is to show how I can help minimize the chances of them reoffending, how their behavior has changed during incarceration, and how much I believe they will be a law abiding citizen and remain a productive member of the community when they are released. The body of the support letter should include their relation to me, and how I will help them when they are out of jail. Also life experiences we have shared together (we grew up together), character and personality traits, how important it is for them to get on parole, and how much I believe in their success upon being paroled.
