Some jobs require you to have experience
“To serve at this restaurant you need to have x amount of years of fine dining experience”
“If you want to manage here, you need x amount of years as a manager”
“What’s your degree”
This has been working, but what if there was a different way?
See people who “have experience” often have similar, but different experience
Maybe they learned a system that’s completely opposite from the system used
Or maybe they dealt with different clientele, doing things differently.
But what about taking someone who really wants to work at your place, with no experience…
And molding them into exactly who you want to be
It may take a little more time, but it also may be worth it.
