Make it required that every newborn have a Roth IRA account opened up and immediately maxed out at 6k
When the baby can touch the account in 60 years, even if they didn’t add to it, it’d be worth over a million dollars – all tax-free – and that’s If they did nothing else!
Yeah, it’d take some time for world poverty to end but nothing happens overnight, right?
Then we can teach them why we’re doing that, we could even max out the account each year, teach them about compound interest and how ordinary people can leave a life-changing legacy behind them if they just do the little things
Because if they added 6k to the account every year for the first 20 years…
That account would be worth over 8 million dollars by the age of 60.
