811. “I didn’t know”

It’s a smoke screen, a lame excuse

And it may be real, I really didn’t know

But who’s fault is it that I didn’t know?

It’s mine.

I could have been more aware, planned better, or been more prepared

Should have gotten ready more,

Would I let this happen again?

That’d be my own fault

It’s a tough pill to swallow, admitting we were at fault, but one we’ll get used to.

And life will be a lot more smooth if we can start to take responsibility for our actions

What do you think about that?

It’s easier said than done.
