We can’t control what someone does
Or if we “get in” to a school or a race
We can’t control the weather or accidents
But we can control something from each of these situations
- we can choose to respond appropriately to others
- We can put in the work to get into the school or race or have a plan B, shoot an email out, any sort of action done by us
- We can control what we wear and how we prepare
Something happens and people freak out
But focusing on what we can control can alleviate that
Realizing that I can’t even control this here, but I can control how I respond to this situation
Easier said than done, but it can be done
